Momentum
Momentum
The momentum of an object is a vector quantity defined by the product of an object's mass and its velocity. As mentioned previously, since momentum is a vector, you need to use vector addition and split up momentum into its x and y components in order to analyze it properly. Momentum is measured in kg m/s. Usually, the letter p is used to represent momentum.
