In Babylonian myth, Ursa Minor was regarded as the "Wagon of Heaven". There are quite a lot of interpretations of Ursa Minor. One of them is that the constellation is connected to the story of Callisto and Arcas(discussed on the page for Ursa Major). However, there are almost countless other interpretations of the story within Greek mythology.

Ursa Minor doesn't have very many deep-sky objects, making it one of the emptier constellations. There are a couple of galaxies within this constellation but outside that, there isn't much else.
