The constellation of Cancer(not to be confused with the group of diseases which are discussed on this site) is associated with the crab in Greek mythology that bit Heracles in the foot when he battled the Hydra. According to myth, after biting Heracles in the foot, the Greek goddess Hera placed the crab in the night sky where it is now.
Cancer houses the Beehive Cluster, one of the brightest open clusters one can see. In fact, it's a very popular sight amongst amateur astronomers to observe.
Cancer also holds 55 Cancri, a binary-star system(system with two stars orbiting each other) that houses 5 exoplanets. One of them is very similar to Earth and lies within the habitable zone with a temperature like Earth's while the other four are gas giants. There also appears to be an belt like our Kuiper Belt within this system.
