Above is an artist's representation of an exoplanet that could match the conditions of Kepler-186f.

Kepler-186f is an exoplanet 500 light-years away from Earth orbiting the red dwarf Kepler-186. It is actually the first exoplanet to have a radius similar to Earth while in its star's habitable zone.

Unfortunately, we know far too little about Kepler-186f because of just how far it is from Earth. Unfortunately, current telescopes can't pull as much data on this exoplanet and neither will the James Webb Space Telescope, too. We can make only slight inferences on the atmospheric composition of this exoplanet if it has an atmosphere.

There are four other planets with 186-f's system but these are so close to the star that they are too hot to support life. It is speculated that Kepler-186f could have seasonal climates just like Earth. However, outside of these few inferences we can make, there is unfortunately just far too little that we know about Kepler-186f.
