Thermochemistry

A lot of people hear the word "thermo" and think thermodynamics is all about temperature and heat. After all, people often use objects like thermostats in their homes and offices, along with thermometers to measure temperatures.


However, thermodynamics is more about the study of work and energy when it comes to various processes. Thermochemistry is a specific part of thermodynamics that deals with the heat(thermal energy) involved in chemical processes and reactions.
